Pregnant woman's killer placed on FBI's Most Wanted list
A woman accused of killing a 9-month pregnant Milwaukee mother joined the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list on Tuesday.
Shanika Minor, 24, gunned down Tamecca Perry in the early-morning hours of March 6 in what Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn described as a “particularly heinous and brutal crime,” WITI-TV reported. FBI agents are offering up to $100,000 for information leading to Minor’s arrest.
Minor shot Perry in the chest with a semi-automatic weapon because she was angry that Perry had been playing loud music late at night at the duplex shared by Perry and Minor’s mother, according to the feds.

Shanika Minor, 24, has been added to the FBI's Most Wanted List. The feds said she killed a 9-month pregnant woman in Milwaukee March 6.
Yet investigators said Minor’s mother had separated her from Perry earlier in the night and begged her not to fire on Perry. Minor’s mom told police she placed herself between the two women, but Minor raised the weapon over her mother’s shoulder and shot Perry.

The wounds killed the 23-year-old Perry and her unborn child due in a week. Minor, who used to be a newspaper delivery driver, is now wanted on charges of first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree intentional homicide of an unborn child and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
“The brutal murder of a mother and her unborn child is reprehensible,” Robert Shields, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Milwaukee office, said in a statement.
Investigators described Minor as armed and dangerous and said she is believed to keep in contact with people in Missouri, Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio, and possibly Georgia. Her full name is Shanika Shontel Minor, though she has sometimes used the alias “Ida Jackson,” the feds said.
Investigators believe Minor shot the pregnant woman because she was playing music too loudly. A screengrab from March shows the crime scene.

Minor is 5-foot-6 and 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. FBI agents asked anyone who may have spotted her or may know anything about her location to contact their local FBI office or the nearest American embassy or consulate.
