I work in a somewhat small town in Louisiana that's about 55% Black. From what I see most Blacks and Whites stick with their own kind outside of work and college. There's always going to a crowd of Blacks that like to party with CACs even after being turned away at the entrance for BS reasons. Blacks have their own clubs and whites have their own spots and theirs a few mixed spot.

As far as living, still a lot of hoods, trailer parks for CACs. Seems most well to do Black live in mixed neighborhoods. Not sure I've seen an all Black affluent area ever. I'm finding that the Cops are decent (knock on wood).Their kids go to school with your kids, so if they do some foul shyt, they have to move out of town. Cops also club and are cool with known drug dealers and goons. I just moved from Maryland, where Cops are scary and most come from VA and PA, don't the people or culture.

Also, it's easy to lease a building if you want to start a business. Especially if you're cool with some people down at City Hall. You can also get away with a lot if your cool with a Cop or on the District Attorney's son's baseball team. Definitely a community.

Dating, out of towners don't get that much love. Girls know who they want and have already done their background check or just knew the down from school. If her cousin or good friend put a good word in for you, she leaving the club with you.

Theres outdoor shyt like fishing, hiking, hunting etc... Bars, hole in the walls, diners and just old local spots to talk and eat. For the most part if you want to do something out of the ordinary you drive half an hour to an hour over to a bigger city.

It's relatively safe. My city in particular doesn't have many murders. There's alot of fighting and petty thefts and shyt though. For the most part it's laid back unless you act like a jackass wherever you go. The ghettos and hoods can look like 3rd world countries but like i said be cool and no one's gonna mess with you.

Most of the good paying jobs are various factories and military jobs. After that it's construction, warehouse, service industry shyt

It's very closeknit. Most random people on the street know someone you know or that's in your family.

EDIT: Oh yeah also my town has an annual festival/parade called Market street where alot of soul/rnb singers come perform and different activities and food vendors
