Shawn Porter was trying to fight him

Cant be mad at Keith though. Porter and AB is gonna be a good one. Have to say, I believed Khan when he said he'd drop his current opponent to fight Broner. Guarantee he wouldn't fight Thurman though. That said, Thurman's options are kinda limited at the moment. Which is sad considering how stacked the division is. That's the business through. Between the nature of the business, new cold war and all, this isn't surprising. It also exposes a flaw with PBC, that being despite Al having signed a hundred plus fighters, the talent only runs but so deep. I fear he might run the risk of having significant matchmaking problems kinda like HBO/Arum have had to deal with and Showtime will be experiencing in the very near future.
