Cormier is a cocky ass nikka hendo has no chance
The fact he will be next in line for beating this old man gives some validity to what jon jones was saying

I can't see him winning either.

Cormier has also beaten Bigfoot, Barnett, Mir and Roy.

Heavyweight division and those 3 guys are passed it too

Cormier has yet to fight a contender yet he is next in line for the belt

They gave gus a can to make sure they could do the rematch

There is no lineal path to the belt they just make the shyt up as they see fit

Bigfoot: Top 5 or 6 HW
Barnett: Top 5-8 HW
Mir: Top 10 HW
Roy: Top 10-15 HW
(At the time Comier beat them)

3 solid wins (Roy was a decent win), Bigfoot, Mir and Barnett were all contenders.

Since when are mid-tier fighters (like Manuwa) cans? Although, I do agree that the UFC gave Gus a favorable match-up so they could set-up the Jones rematch.

What match-ups would you make for LHW? Who should've Gus fought and who should Cormier fight?

They should be fighting each other thats the whole point

Barnett is past it and has done nothing in ufc

Nelson is tough but the new breed are too athletic he has no chance at the title

Bigfoot is supppse to get beat

Cormier is good bur have to beat somebody in 3rd spot to be in title talk

And have Jones sit out months for the winner? What if the winner gets injured? Have Jones sit out even further. Like I've said in the past, LHW is lacking contenders (although we now have Rumble in the mix), why would the UFC want to kill off a contender? Your scenario makes close to 0 sense for the UFC.

The wins I mentioned were ranked (except for Roy), but you can still spew your 'but but he was suppose to get beat' :heh:

First off you talking about guys ranked in an entirely different divisions its not even valid none if the guys will even contend for belt either

Jones just fought the number 1 contender
Gus and Cormier should be fighting now instead of the gimmies they got

Cormier was a top 3-4 HW with solid wins (over 3 contenders) coming down in weight. But somehow, his achievements (in a higher weight class) are not valid?

Jones just fought the number 1 contender

Glover's resume/wins is about equal to Gus and Cormier's. But only Glover is a 'number 1 contender'?

Gus and Cormier should be fighting now instead of the gimmies they got

In a perfect world, where the LHW division has tons of worthy contenders, a Gus/Cormier match-up would make some sense, but that's not the case.

Gus just lost glover was next up on a long winning streak

Jon jones has fought more often than any champ in ufc history your point doesnt make sense

They could ve scheduled cormiet and gus to fight around this time and fight Jon later in the year

I mean damn rumble at least foughy phil davis

I thought this wad a sport people want to see the top guys fight each other nor just line up and fight jones

Jones beinf the champ will always have some one to fighy do why would he half to sit

Gus lost a very close fight to Jones, his resume is about equal to Glover's.

What are you trying to say/prove? Jones has fought a lot and beaten a bunch of contenders, which is a major reason why the division is lacking contenders. Jones has pretty much beaten most of them.

They could ve scheduled cormiet and gus to fight around this time and fight Jon later in the year

Gus fought in March, that's a very quick turnaround. Again, what if the winner of Gus/Cormier gets injured or has a lengthy medical suspension, who would you have fighting Jones?

Also, why would the UFC risk a money-making rematch (with Gus) and like I've said, kill off a contender.

I thought this wad a sport people want to see the top guys fight each other nor just line up and fight jones

Jones beinf the champ will always have some one to fighy do why would he half to sit

With injuries and lack of depth (in some divisions), you can't always have the best fighting each other. Either way, usually the top guys fight each other
