I don't get why these networks see WWE as a live sport. I guess it would be pretty hard to binge Raw and who the fukk would do that nowadays anyway?
It would be shooting themselves in the foot to do this. These TV deals are great, but they’re going to need life beyond them, when broadcast and cable is dead, and that’s what the network is largely an eye towards.
... though if the McMahons do intend to sell, then the short term money grab makes more sense.
They actually decided to pay $1.35 billion after that Bobby Lashley/Sami Zayn segments a few weeks back
