Putting out a bunch of music in a short period of time is not good work ethic. I don't know why releasing a lot of music in a short span is accepted as good work ethic in Hip Hop.

Putting out an album every two years isn't anything to scoff at. It's called consistency. 2012 until now is the biggest gap between Nas albums. I wouldn't call that poor work ethic because he's still recording.

Vlad is on his bullshyt as usual but I have heard/read that producers had to all but beg Nas to get in the studio to record Illmatic.

But the long list of amazing unreleased material from Nas puts a dent in the argument overall.
