I've been wondering why there's white people with kinky hair as well. Their kinky hair is more similar to east african black people than the average black in america.

This may sound weird to you, but I've NEVER seen a person with big jewfro or afro hair in real life, walking down the street or whatever. Closest I've seen is a jamaican friend of mine but he keeps it buzzed short so it's more of a fade. I think that may be because hair straightening treatments are SUCH a huge trend in northeastern Brazil that most of the women do it/wanna do it... even chicks with naturally straight hair
