i wanted to start a thread for albums that ain't hip hop that should be essential for checkin' out for anyone who's a fan of music and genres all across the board. i'm hopin' to maybe come across some albums i've never heard before and that i can check out sometime

i'll start off with one of my favorite non hip hop albums of all time which is pinky floyd's wish you you here
i'll never forget the 1st time i listened to this album and i was like "what the fukk is this?!"
another is by sly and the family stone, which is fresh. fresh is so damn soulful, funky and gospel at the core. i can listen to this album all day, everyday
