i've only seen shigurui (and only cuz of the hype which i later found out was unwarranted) and it took me like 2 weeks to finish it cuz it was so damn gloomy and dark and depressing....nvr even heard of the other show but i watched the trailer and only made it halfway thru cuz i got that feeling again ...OP may need help

Finish reading the manga if you havent already. That was truly a beautifully, twisted, and brutal story. I wish they would have finished animating the rest. The ending is really depressing yet amazing.

This is nothing compared to what we had to watch in art school. A Serbian Film, Requiem of a Dream, Visitor Q, Hellavator, Bad Boy Buddy, Oldboy, John Waters movies. I like what I like, you like what you like. I think overly happy shyt for grown men is suspect, nikkas is watching DZ past 25, corky shyt was made for 15 year boys, but to each their own.

yea if u wanna watch that freaky nasty deeply disturbing shyt just watch it in live action form like that a serbian film (u prolly got that shyt on blu ray ) to seek it out in anime form is way stranger to me than a grown man watching shounen but hey u do u breh ...besides the ending tho oldboy was pretty tame imo
