whats spotify? can you use it without internet connection? because my ipod only has wifi so when im out i can only listen to music i downloaded. i cant stream

i got my laptop fixed and it had to be restored to when i first got it. so when i reinstalled itunes all the music i downloaded was gone. all i got left is 3 albums i recently bought tetsuo and youth b4da$$ and 2014 forest hills drive.

apple are terrible. nothing but problems with their software.

The same shyt happened to me in a way. I had about 350 songs on my iPhone and the majority were songs that I downloaded from the internet. A few days ago, without warning, all of the downloaded songs got taken off. Every time I try to put them back on, they just stay for a while and disappear again.

They purge media that wasn't bought through iTunes every once in a while. Use another player/platform in the future.

I had the same thing happen on my iPod, my stuff was still on the iPod but I had to "unhide it." Try this; it worked for me: http://howto.wired.com/wiki/Get_Your_Music_Off_of_Your_iPod

But if you synced it with a new computer it might be too late... Freaking Apple.

bullshyt that has NEVER happened to me and i have exclusively used itunes & mac/ipod/iphone products for the last 10 years. they don't just erase your music every now & then. you need to check "manually manage music & videos" when you set up your ipod. 5000 songs is nothing breh, i got 50,000+ and with blogs, torrents & high speed internet these days it's nothing to download 5000 songs.

edit: also need to get a separate hard drive to keep all your music on breh

Well its happened to me 3 times and this is what apple explained to me when I complained as a shareholder to corporate. I don't use them anymore for that reason. Just cause it didn't happen to you doesn't make it a lie.

i don't generally torrent music, i get it from blogs & shyt. mediafire, zippyshare and all that but i do have a few discogs i torrented mainly stuff i don't listen to very much and i want it more for the collection than anything else or to pick up new music from an artist i'm just starting to get into.
