"Classic films" or films that are "timeless" e.g. Stars: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Terminator, Toy Story, Lord of The Rings, Planet Of The Apes, Harry Potter, OG Superman etc. These Marvel films just aren't "special" and most of them lack re-watch appeal. You get your fill and you move on to the new meal.
This is what happens when you keep pumping out flick after flick after flick in quick succession . I call it "Friday the 13th syndrome". Creativity eventually starts to simmer and the films become far too "predictable" and far too similar with plots, villains and characters that are barely memorable. There's a reason why the OG Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street are the only repped films in their respective franchises which span 7+ movies. It's because The first installations were unique and creative and not hindered by or the product of studio interference.
Marvel make "good" films but not "great" films that you can instantly watch with no hesitation when they come on TV or at anytime. These films wont be talked about or repped in 20+ years time.
