Here we have it folks. It's the end, all of it's coming down to this. Sunday marks a collision course in American soccer. At first glance this is a simple contest; the Galaxy have to be favored. In Major League Soccer they have become the first team to put up a 30+goal differential at home, and have the MLS MVP Robbie Keane on their side, as well as the US Men's National Team GOAT Landon Donovan. But the Revs have exceeded expectations, and they just might surprise us again. They have been energized by the current form of their attacking midfield player Lee Nguyen, as well as the addition of another USMNT staple, Jermaine Jones. Since adding Jones, they have looked like a completely different team, playing sharp, aggressive attacking soccer anyone can enjoy. There's firepower on all sides here; Juninho, Zardes, Sarvas, Nguyen, Jones, Donovan, and Davies all have scoring capability. There's more at stake here than just a cup. This is Landon Donovan's last game ever. He's chosen to retire at the end of this season. Can Donovan go out in a blaze of cup glory? Or will the Revs, growing stronger with every match, claim a title and cement themselves as a force in the race for future MLS Cups and Shields?
