From my perspective, Saturday morning cartoons went to shyt in the early 90's when NBC & CBS stopped their line-ups.

ABC held-out until early 2000's.

Once the 'Big-3' pulled-out, we were left with Kids' WB, UPN & Fox, but their line-ups were only for a couple hours.

When I was a kid, you could literally sit in-front of the TV from 5 AM till 12 PM and watch NOTHING but cartoons followed by Kung-Fu movies, Soul Train, The Twilight Zone & The Outer Limits.​
