I know u guys are pretty busy kickin Big Sean and that African dude that rides his jock :krs:

but we can't ignore the fact that Juicy bout to flop too.

This guy had a Top 10 single, got JT, and Wally (fat insecure bytches love this nikka I swear), and every other person sellin verses in the rap game as features.

He has bonified hit makers in Dr Luke and Mike Wll givin him heat, and he still floppin.:mindblown:

Dude been yellin turnt up and promoting Miley :shaq2:so much he should be pushin 100k off of his presence alone.

Time to go back into hibernation juice and come up with some more generic trap bangers next decade:smugdraper:

They fukked it up by waiting until now to drop it. Dude has no poppin singles out right now, and he's a single driven rapper...Even if the album wasnt complete I still would have dropped something at the height of bandz and then re-upped a deluxe edition or some shyt

Yeah like someone else said I don't think anyone expected Juicy to put up good numbers. He coulda sold 30k and he'd still be doin better realistically than most rappers right now. He's been tourin heavily the past year or so and has probably made 5x the amount just on touring he woulda made if he pushed 200k so for Juicy he still took a W, in my opinion.

Nah, he never was going to sell like that. I don't think many thought he was gonna go gold or anything like that. Let's just enjoy the excellent album brehs :dj2:

Flop is moving less than expected considering history, prospects for the artists, expectations, what we know about the game and the climate etc. And Juicy J moving 70k with strip club anthems turned club anthems.. Is quite well after 20 years in the game, + that he's getting quite good reviews.

Also when you said he had top 10 songs, what list are we talking about?
His songs peaked at #29, # 74 and #102 and were obviously not solo joints. The bigger the start, the higher the charting position.

2013 Juicy J has no expectations of selling big numbers to even quantify anything he does to be a flop, unless it was insanely low Kreyshawn type number...honestly don't think it would've mattered when they released the album in relation to Bandz...Blurred Lines was a number one pop record in the country for like 2 months straight damn near with corporate sponsers that had it serve as the theme song to major corporate roll outs... and Robin Thicke ain't clear 200k first week...the current incarnation of Juicy J is something roughly approximating a mixtape trap (party anthem) rapper...all things considered, I'm betting he's feeling blessed

There's a reason why ain't a soul on here even thought beforehand to ponder what he'd do his first week before the sh!t dropped on some "OMG is Juicy J gonna flop :lupe:" shyt

Big singles are their own markers of success, independent of album sales...Bandz being a hit that resurrected his entire career > an arbitrary extra 35K copies sold first week from the album...don't understand this backsward thinking where people hold big singles against acts like they're some type of liability instead of an asset
