Seriously, I think Bruce Bowen would give Lebron and the Heat pure hell. And he can shoot the 3.

Leonard is better offensively and a better rebounder... Kawhi in his prime will be >>> Bruce Bowen

I will say that if the Spurs had a Bruce Bowen off the bench instead of Belinelli, they'd be up 2-0. The backup SF spot is the Spurs biggest weakness.

Then Pop should play Manu more minutes and move Green over to the 3 to spell Kawhi

Problem is, Green and Ginobili also got 3 fouls early

You just can't win if your best perimeter defenders are all in foul trouble and can't get in rhythm.

But I agree... Green should play the 3 when Leonard is sitting. They never put Green on Bron last night due to the foul trouble but he did guard him in Game 1 for a little.

I also think Joseph should play at one of the guards because he is a good defender and brings energy. I mean the kid sort of turned around their series against OKC because he dunked on Ibaka in garbage time :dead:

That boy Joseph is nice. I'm glad he's not playing against my Heat. Especially how Chalmers is playing. :whew:

Maybe Popovich isn't a smart as ya'll say he is. :sas2:

For the Spurs or any team trying to implement a system, Bowen is the easy choice. Absolute LOCKDOWN defender and once he added the ability to hit that corner 3, it was a wrap. Who couldn't find a place for that guy?

But if you're looking for a guy to just freestyle it out there or maybe even create his own shot (which Leonard isn't very good at right now but has potential) then I'd take Leonard, who can still defend at a high level.

It's like asking do you want the jack of all trades or the specialist. It depends on what you already have. If I need everything I'm going to the general, AKA Kawhi. But if I'm having trouble stopping and just need brakes, I'm going to the brake specialist AKA Bowen.

For this series, who would you rather have?
