I recommend everyone do this though, just 99 bucks, when you put your info in Gedmatch its an information overload though, but it`s cool reading about stuff. I did another test that said I was 23% "Archaic African" which I assume just comes from the various central/east african groups that are considered ancient.

how long did it take to receive your results??
I mailed my test on Jan 13, they started test on Jan 26, got results today. My girl got her results much faster but she is generationally African American, her results actually pulled up 2-3 cousins, while all my results on ancestry were for 5-8th cousins, so I assume more than likely those are from my ancestors that were slaves, because one of them was some White looking PR cat.

I took this test to see if it was legit or not, and my test results make sense. Literally shows the migration of man, with me having East African Orgins, and I am of a Mande tribe, thus the Mali % and Mande people migrated to the coastal areas of Africa after the fall of Mali/Songhai

def worth it if you're a AA. Not that it will make you be on some back to Africa stuff, but if you're into history it gives you cool stuff to research instead of claiming stuff like Egypt that most of us are far removed from.
