I doing my duty as an American citizen tomorrow.
Mostly because I couldn't get out of it.

I have made excuses before to get out of it, can't escape this time.

Tell me what to expect brehs.

Do I get paid for my time or nah?

Bring a book & your summons & ID. The book is to keep you busy in case you have to sit on your ass for the damn day. & also bring ur phone charger, I spent my day not serving, sitting & waiting while on the coli. My phone was on 5% by like 2. I had to ask some random dude if I could use his charger.

& yes you get a lunch.


Also you don't get paid much, I got like $17.25 for sitting all day.

No I didn't get picked for a case, just jury service. I have a group and juror number.

yooooo I remember when I was super nervous and embarrassed to make an excuse and it came out completely wrong and the judge/lawyers were looking at me like

Yep. I went once and the case was settled, they told us to go home but not enough people showed up so I had to be there all day.

yeah you will be there all day. If you are young and black then more then likely they will turn you will not get picked for a case.
