Jay-Z suggests that President Trump's bigotry can galvanize voter turnout and create a new generation of activists while speaking with David Letterman in an upcoming episode of the former late night-host's Netflix show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

It may have no desk, no band and no monologue – but the late-night pioneer's new Netflix show is 100-percent old-school Cranky Dave

Letterman kicks off the political portion of the interview with a blunt general assessment of Trump's record to date. "I'm beginning to lose confidence in the Trump administration," he deadpans, before turning to his guest: "…What do you think of that?"

"I think it's actually a great thing," Jay-Z responds. The rapper argues that Trump is "forcing people to … have a conversation and band together and work together." "You can't really address something that's not revealed," the rapper continues. "[Trump] is bringing out an ugly side of America that we wanted to believe was gone … We still gotta deal with it. We have to have tough conversations – talk about the N-word, talk about why white men are so privileged in this country."

Letterman feels similarly. "I completely agree," he says. "We don't need any more evidence: Is he a racist, is he not a racist? I'm tellin' you, [if] you're having a debate over whether a guy's a racist, chances are that guy's a racist."

Jay-Z is the latest guest on Letterman's show, which has featured in-depth, hour-long interviews with President Obama, George Clooney and Malala Yousafzai. In previous teasers from Jay-Z's episode, the rapper has praised the artistry of Snoop Dogg and Eminem and discussed his mother's decision to come out as gay on the 4:44 track "Smile."

The full interview premieres Friday, April 6th on Netflix.

:hhh: Are you really this dense

He's speaking as if racism is dead in this country, that's what most cacs:ld: believe so they don't have to deal with it.

If you yourself are truly "black":whoo: which I can not tell, nor have the interest in determining at this time:pacspit:

But if you truly are "black" you have no choice/ no option but to face this reality :snoop:

When you purchase a home/ get employment/ get followed around stores/ harassed by cops/ Heavier judgment in court cases as opposed to cacs/ any form of entertainment you try to enjoy is green lit by a cac hand even the music.

Now what I will say most "blacks" have not determined and become collectively resolute in their hearts to DESTROY this despicable racial construct they misnomer as government:pacspit::pacspit::pacspit:

Yeap.

Lot of us may have been well aware of racism, obviously no secret, but Trump (and all this police shyt as well) has brought this shyt all out in the open like it's 50 years ago. That shyt has exposed alot of people who are racist or at least complicit with racism. Every day, people are finding out what friends of theirs they've known since high school would likely throw their ass under the bus, and they never woulda thought. Trump, these police incidents, and social media brought out the worst in a lotta people. We knew racism was alive and well, that's a given... but THIS alive and well? fukk no.

No, Jiggs...

the "Ugly Side of America"

1. ..."you wanted to believe was gone" enables Trump - not the other way around.
2. ...is the biggest "side" of America.

this is very true, i've seen people i knew for a long time expose themselves for how truly fake they were. the funny thing is they wouldn't say these kind of things they said around me. Trump in office really got these people comfortable sayin all that racist shyt and that shyt got me tight.
