Ja Rule made some good and catchy singles but let's keep it real, he was a Pac clone.

I could never really take him serious as an artist because he just was a carbon copy of Pac to me.

I liked some of his singles for what they were but he was never a rapper I really took serious simply because it was like someone doing a parody of Pac.

I'll keep it all the way real too and I know a lot of nikkas gon be mad when I say this but when DMX came out with his 1st album, I felt like he was a fake Pac to an extent as well. When I 1st saw him, I was like this nikka running around w/ a bandana on his head like Pac and trying to be rowdy like him.

Now, their styles are different but back in the late 90's, I was like this nikka eating off of Pac's legacy.

Keep in mind, back then a lot of nikkas was trying to fill that Pac void. It was a nikka named Blac Haze back then, The Realest (who was on Death Row), Lil Zane, and Master P.

Sounded nothing like Pac....didnt make songs like Pac.

Neither did DMX.... Xs 'rah rah' style , along with the baldie, was remeniscent of Onyx not 2pac. 2pac didnt have a "rah rah" style. "where my dogs at" sounds nothing like Pac. "stop being greedy" sounds nothing like Pac. "Ruff Ryders anthem" sounds nothing like Pac. But when u a tip rider all u see is 2pac in everything.

Pac dressed like a ny york nikka, thats why he's rocking timbs in the "hit em up" video. Ja Rule and DMX dressed like ny nikkaz...not no damn 2pac.

scullys, ts, hocky jeseys, baldies, baggie clothes......Onyx had that ny look down to a t.

honestly, i think its cause Ja carved his own lane and had a run thats now being appreciated through nostalgia..its not like he was Zane or Krazy...nikkas that were 1,000% fake ass Pac clones down to the flow and cysing them --eessss (as in enemies, henessey, celebrity etc..)

Ja dont sound like Pac at all...image wise there were similarites...but again, he worked on trying to get off that shyt once it got called out ...

i would say he successfully separated himself and came into his own once he decided to
