security is hot.
but do you want longterm or short term pay?

that should dictate which career you should take.

Getting into something that is 'hot' now won't mean anything if you have no experiernce. You're looking at 3-5 years minimum before you find a job in security or voice ( IMO the 2 hottest fields) and something will probably replace those jobs as being the new big thing.

Find out what technology interests you and start reading.....alot.

Short term... Should I go back to school and get my bachelors in IT with a concentration in security or should I just go for certs?
Get your bachelors in IT.

Certifications are okay, but your resume will be shuffled under those with degrees and more work experience. You're cock-blocking yourself.

If I wanted to get into IT but suck at math what should I do/route to take?
Computer science or engineering have math requirements, but you can do it with tutoring.
Management Information Systems, MIS, is a bit easier since it is a little bit less math heavy than comp sci/engineering. MIS is usually a part of a business school and not a computer science school of a college.
