Agreed. Both them nikkas just overall lame to me.
Be doing too much. Imo Jay the perfect example of how to be pro black and not corny like most conscious artist are. They ont have that clout like that.

For one that's false, Jay been sprinkling lil nuggets of that shyt in his music.
Two, even if he did, YOU GOTTA HAVE CLOUT WITH YOUR PPL TO PULL IT OFF. Something neither Kendrick or Cole has. And to a degree, Nas, despite him being on that from jump street.
nikkas like Hov and Pac have the streets, without that, it just comes off lame.

EDIT: Essentially wat I'm saying is, only street rappers can be taken serious on that wave

Nas was a street rapper more than Pac. You are contradicting yourself and I knew that was your angle from the jump. They are "not street"

I don't agree with you and most hip hop fans don't neither. Hence why the 2 are rappers are doing the best of their generation besides Drake.

This mindset of what defines realness is played out as hell. Kendrick is from Compton but because he didn't bang he isn't street and can't talk about the struggle that was all around him and in his own family. That's retarded fam.

Problem with y'all analysis is these guys do have clout regardless of how much they are disparaged on here because they don't fit the mood of rappers y'all want them to be like. But I already know the next excuse is gonna be that they talking to white people even though this has been proven false...

It's corny that you can't see how corny it is. I know it's entertainment.
But they both look fugazi. Like some make believe militant rappers
To you they look that way because you have a limited scope.

To me they look like some rappers with a message. I don't have to agree with it but I'll take in the entertainment if it's good. It's just a discussion on the times we live in. It offends you because you feel they lack authenticity as an authority on realness which Ironically smacks of corniness.

But they're not hard enough to talk about that :bryan:
