I've thought about this for a long time and I now believe this is the only way to generate wealth in black communities. I like Group Economics, but it's something that I don't think is doable nor profitable for black people.

If we look at some major crowdfunding campaigns, we can see some traction here.

Could this be the starting point?

yes it is a great solution. No debt and maintaining control of the product, message or service. It's all about the execution. I can give it to you but what you gone do with it?

I honestly think that its the composition, not the size of the group. Small groups are way more functional, period.

It's group economics whether a Black person is directly paying a Black person for a good or service, or if Black people are investing together to make more money for everyone.

There is no working or formal definition of Group Economics (that I know of). Even after that, it can mean almost anything, it's too broad. This is why you are not wrong, but I would disagree.

We have defined terms for the word Economics which it deals more with production and consumption. This is why you can have group investing but have no change on the groups economy at all.

I agree with @Tom Foolery "group economics" is far too broad of a term, and doesn't take into account the "socio-" factors in "socio-economics factors."
What are we investing in? What is "we" exactly?
The money circulation and buying power myths are nothing more than useless rambling, concrete ideas need to actually be set.
I have no idea how " a solution" would even form.
Black billion dollar tech companies? Black engineering firms and contractors? Black realty companies that emphasize Black neighborhoods? Black hedge funds? Black banks? There's a lot that would need to go into it.

YES 100%.

I group that is on the same page in the beginning and has direct goal in mind will always be able to effectively get things done. Some African immigrant groups are starting to do this (while other immigrant groups already do the same thing in some shape or form). It's the reason why many ethnicities have a monopoly on products that are sold to us (example: Koreans and the black hair care market).

People don't invest in people they dont believe which is the biggest hurdle
This is honestly a big problem as well, but theoretically it would still be avoided if you have a large enough organization with like-minded people. You have to start somewhere.

key is to start with a small simple idea then grow from there;one step at a time. me and 2 other friends invested our time and money to open up an electronics repair shop close to the hood but in a busy area. we been good almost 3 years now. we offer investment opportunities. got a couple people to hop on board but same people you ask to invest and don't do it always got on new jordans and fresh weaves and make up; so it is what it is. slow growth but we are profiting more and more as time goes on.
we plan on expanding, buyin up rental properties, etc.
whats sad is that black people have all these questions for local black business but no questions for nike, mcdonalds, chinese nail shops and weave spots.
