Over the course of the next few days, there will be a livestream of Star Wars news. Most of it will be focused on the upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but according to a source within GameStop, we can expect a big video game announcement as well. Corporate management has passed down word to stores that there will be a major Star Wars video game announcement at 2:00pm Eastern time tomorrow, April 17.

A new SKU has been added to the GameStop system to go along with the announcement, listing a release date of November 17, 2015. Additionally, Star Wars shirts have been sent to GameStop locations to mark the occasion, and pre-orders for this new SKU will be opened tomorrow. The SKU is currently not titled, but it is expected to be Star Wars: Battlefront, which coincides with the game's panel at Star Wars Celebration.

Ya. I'm the biggest Star Wars fan on here probably but considering DICE/EA recent track record, not getting too hyper over this at launch. And they going to have to do a lot for this not to be basically a BF4 reskinning. Will be fun just based off it being Star Wars though.

thats why im not excited about this. DICE LA is the only reason BF4 is in good shape right now. EA forced bf4 out the door before it was ready and it looks like the same is gonna happen with battlefront

I doubt it will be, was they first game on next gen consoles.
