sometimes I find myself scratching my head when dealing with all the societal (race) issues that have become sensationalized since Sean Bell/Trayvon....

And I've got to ask my Coli brethren and even my fellow Coli white brethren if they've noticed a trend among new school white folks....


It's clear that racsim been here and really isn't going anywhere but at least the last generation of euro-American kept it funky with their prejudice and cism... You can respect a Cac more when you know where he/she stands

Smiling and hanging with you but when you when you read comment sections online or Facebook you're let dumb struck.....?

Like if you really felt that way let that shyt be known offline like your white predecessors did.. We don't have to have fake respect for one another...

I dont hang around much white people other than work so I assume that every white person is racist like the ones online until proven otherwise so these new school white people do not suprise me much.

Eh....

I'm white but as strange as it sounds I don't associate with white people. Not that I have anything against them per se but literally every one I grew up with is black. My high school pics, I'm the only white person in the picture. I've known those guys 25-30 years.

So I don't want to extend my hand in friendship towards a random white person and they feel like "we're white, it's cool" so they can say some off brand shyt about black people. Or other races. I'd rather avoid those situations all together.

Potential side discussion: The way "progressive" millenial white folk have switched focus to the gender/lgbt thing is what really made me notice that subtle 'cism... In the span of 5 minutes a white broad will go off on someone implying that there are innate differences between men and women, then talk about feeling sketched out riding the metro

Let's not act like race relations are more advanced because of all this fake respect..

The black unemployment rate is ridiculous...

There is still an issue with our relationship with law enfrocenent (despite black officers)

The housing crisis of 08 depleted what little gains we made twoard the original/traditional American Dream....
