Angle is a spot worker compared to Benoit. Benoit knows everything..psychology, building to spots, building to transitions, submission wrestling, good brawling, technical wrestling...everything he did made sense. Better seller..the thing is people see Angle as the better all around guy because of his comedy mic skills.

Kurt could work with anybody and he could do more than just the technical wrestling style.

Angle was significantly better, its not close imo. I guess you could say benoit executes moves more crisply, but so does dean malenko, kurt angle is incredibly crisp, has better strikes than benoit ever did, and has way more classic matches and moments. And guess what, he could actually do the other half of professional wrestling; cutting promos and working the crowd. Benoit may as well be mute he was such a liability on the mic. That alone makes angle way better.

I find Kurt a really entertaining perfomer, consistent as hell.

I think Benoit is one of the greatest in ring performers ever.

Watch Wild Pegasus vs Black Tiger II, semis from the BOSJ 96'. That's Benoit and Eddie taking all the time in the world turning a meh crowd into their match by doing the most simple stuff. Angle has never been able to do anything close to that his entire career.

And Kurt is the definition of a "go to spot and nearfalls quick" wrestler.
