I know this analogy has been made many times and it pisses lots of people off but even with this whole Colin Kaepernick thing poppin off if you still can't see the parallels I don't know what to tell ya:yeshrug:

Not literally of course. Do y'all even know what the word "parallel" means?:pachaha:

Colin right now is "bucking the system", "running away from the plantation" and they are gonna do everything in there power to do the equivalent of what they did to Kunta Kinte: chop his foot off. Take away his endorsements, demonize him in the media, even may blackmail him from the league and anything league related after his playing days are finished.

Athletes like Cam Newton knows this and that's why they choose to stay obedient, subservient, docile, to "remain on the plantation" so to speak instead of speaking out for their people.

The white man (owners) are housing, feeding and clothing them so they have most of the leverage. These athletes are fearful of pissing off massa and having their privileges taken away (whipped, amputated, neutered to parallel)

Im as big of a sports fan as the next man but since ive woken up and am aware of the racial undertones and motives behind most things, i cant help but to look at sports sideways now:patrice:. Its cringworthy seeing the visual of thousands upon thousands of white people cheering for mostly black men to run up and down a court and dunk a basketball or to run and catch footballs. Shyt just doesnt sit right with me anymore. We all know that the only time a white person sees a black person as anything other than a "n1gger" is when he's making money off of him or being entertained by him. The fact that most of the "higher-up" positions(owners,GM's, head coaches) are white/jewish is unsettling also to me. Alot of "others" are living extremely comfortable/rich lives off the blood, sweat and tears of black athletes. Im talking on down to assistant coaches, team doctors/physicians, sports radio/t.v hosts, agents, sports columnists, etc. And most of these positions are NOT held by us. And lets not even mention college athletics where the players arent making a dime. Old white coaches going to urban neighborhoods to recruit young black players that he wouldn't otherwise have anything to do with if he couldnt dunk a ball. And all of that is just the top layer. Ive seen cats compare sports to slavery(especially around NFL Combine time:russ:) but im not gonna disrespect our ancestors who went through REAL slavery by making the comparison,BUT i wont knock those of you who do feel that way. So my question is: how do you sports lovers feel about whites being in aww of our athletic prowess yet still not seeing us as equal human beings?

Peace

I always felt that way about basketball In particular and also Soccer some of the best athletes in both Sports are black and are often scrutinized for the most minimal of things in soccer the racism among club owners coaches and fans is the worst but in the NBA it seems that all the higher ups are very racist behind closed doors

I've never seen people lining up wanting to become slaves though. Working a mundane 9 to 5 for 50 years to then rot in a retirement home is far worse :yeshrug:

These dudes retire at 30 something with fame and millions in their pockets.

Thats top secret information
if they weren't rich as fukk then I could easily see it

^ALSO IF IT WASNT A CHOICE AND A PROFESSION FOR ALL RACES

And the fact that once your contract is up u can just walk away makes me conclude that op is reaching.

Funny how Hocky fans don't make such parallels.

I was disappointed when Oprah didn't buy the LA Clippers when she had the chance. Now another white person owns that team. Are there any black team owners in the NBA/NFL? Real owners who own a majority of the team and not 0.0001% like Jay-Z/Michael Jordan.
