If you say J Cole is better than KRIT at ANYTHING you need a long look in the mirror

His debut was extremely dissappointing....
J. Cole's wasn't even worse? :usure:

I c/s thread starter 100 percent. A few years ago when both were on the come up, I was wondering who would be the one to continue making great music :lupe:

KRIT won :lupe:

KRIT's gotten better as a rapper and producer and yet to release anything less than good while J. Cole has regressed.

Im the biggest KRIT fan and I have to agree. But thats also because I love his mixtapes soooo much.

His mixtapes are so good that i look at them as albums anyway. So 3 of 4 is still good (havnt listened to the new mixtape yet).

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Its hard to surpass 2 classic mixtapes and compare yourself to a standard like that...that YOU set for yourself.

Disappointing to KRIT is out of the realm of 90% of the game.

mind you, this nikka MADE the songs and does his own lyrics.

I'm a Krit fan but even he was disappointed in how his album turned out...shyt was supposed to be one of the best albums to drop last year...

Only thing that has really ever moved me by Krit was his verse on 1train. New tape better be fire.

His accent/rap voice puts me off.

I agree about KRIT but why throw J. Cole under the bus?

They are both dope to me and are about on the same level.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't dissappointed in KRIT's album, damn near all his mixtapes were better than the album including the one he dropped right before the album.

But he isn't like a flash in pan artist and we KNOW he can make good music so I know he'll make up for it..

The fukk prompted this comparison? :what: Your obsession with J. Cole was just disturbing before but it's borderline homosexual at this point.

Anyway, both have classic mixtape catalogues and somewhat disappointing debut albums. I give K.R.I.T the edge with the tapes (haven't heard the new one) and think Cole's debut was slightly better. But both are talented producers and MCs. You fukk nikkas have ruined any discussion of Jay or Nas with the constant need to compare them. Keep that shyt away from the new nikkas. If you're too dense to assess talent on an individual basis then just stick to Ronnie's rhyme scheme threads

KRIT is like Kanye of the south.

Production and rhymes to match.

People compared Cole to KRIT saying that Cole was a better produce and/or rapper.

neither of which are true.

Even KRITs production is just so goddamn thorough. It just SOUNDS better. Its cleaner and more refined.
