my computer didn't freeze it was the FL program

FL is a great software but that new FL 12 version keeps freezing and stuttering on me.
I feel like FL 12 is about 2x heavier on CPU usage than FL 11? Is this true???

Make sure you use ASIO4ALL as your device in Audio Settings.

Than press "Show ASIO Panel".
Turn the "ASIO Buffer Size" all the way to the right.
And "Buffer Offset" to 0 ms.

Make sure all 4 knobs are turned on in that CPU window in Audio Settings to. (Turn some of these off if you want to export your song)

Turn on "Mix in buffer switch" and also "Triple buffer".
Also turn on "Auto close" if you want to hear sound outside FL Studio when you hide the program.

This all will make FL stronger to use with a lot of plugins at once.
