Government name-dropping/posting another's personal information should be an automatic ban

Like what happened yesterday to me...

TeflonTrill sent OP of a certain thread my government name and a link to my instagram for no reason. OP of that thread used my pictures (which I never posted on here) for ridicule on this site. Thankfully, the thread got deleted. But this was a malicious violation and now users are able to phish the internet for whatever information they want on me because certain posters cached that thread and retained my personal info.

I understand that the Coli is all about entertainment and banter but there are limits to exposing/embarrassing other users and that line was crossed yesterday. And, now, Google has that page (with my govt name cached) showing up in the search result when my name is googled.

It should be an automatic ban for users to drop other people's government name and personal information.

OP should get a ban for requesting one of others.

If someone on this site knows your information, it's because you gave it. It's your fault.
