I have to say it looks really good. The acting is top notch. And unlike The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire, it seems there's going to be very little family/existential shyt like Margaret fukkery or Carmella's infatuation with Furio.
The bulk of the story is about two Camorra families beefing. Lots of scheming and lots of shooting.

far better than the movie..i wouldn't even compare them like that.
the movie always felt a bit like a documentary to me and you're just watching people go about their business the show is more along the lines of The Wire etc.

I cant say - never got round to finishing the movie. Watch all of the series now though so will probably try to finish it over the next couple of days. General consensus though is that the TV show is better than the film
