"somebody has to get their hands dirty for the sake of Mexico..and if that means moving drugs...well then..let's move em!" - Amado Carrilo

"Carillo was a nationalist....he felt that his enterprise was beneficial to the state of the Mexican economy..he cultivated the military and maintained diplomatic relations with high level government officals in Mexico City..he was a genius"

"Carillo was famous for the idea that if a "load" is lost..you kill everybody connected with it..this way you get the Trader"

He was called "El Señor de los Cielos" (The Lord of the Skies) for his pioneering use of over 27 private Boeing 727 jet airliners to transport Colombian cocaine to municipal airports and airstrips around Mexico.[9]

In the months before his death, Carrillo's business was growing exponentially: his cartel was shipping multi-ton shipments directly into Manhattan, and million dollar payments to Carrillo were seized at the El Paso-Ciudad Juárez border.

During that time, Carrillo was frequently travelling in his private jets to Cuba, Russia, and other nations in search of a safe haven.

While at the same time a hit song dedicated to his life entitled "El Señor de los Cielos" was blasting across the Mexican Airwaves.

The song one of many dedidated to the "Lord of the Skies" was as sensational and controversial as Carillo’s bizarre 1997 death.

Which was reportedly from anesthetic reaction after ambitious plastic surgery to disguise himself from capture but many believe it to be convinced it was murder: his doctors were abducted and tortured to death.

Apparently Carrillo’s extensive web of bribed government officials and perhaps unseen investors were feeling the heat. :merchant:

Borderland Beat: Amado Carrillo Fuentes Death: Revenge Over the Death of Ochoa Uncle

Borderland Beat: Amado Carrillo Fuentes Death: Revenge Over the Death of Ochoa Uncle

How the doctors ended up, entombed in concrete. Fuentes is long dead, the Juarez Cartel fell apart after he died, thats how you know beyond any doubt, besides the fact it's a near ludicrous theory. I don't know if he was murder, but I wouldn't surprised it was just an accident. His little brother, Vicente, leads what left of cartel de Juarez now, they have been marginalized to the point of near extinction.

The "little brother" has been trying to not only fight Shorty aka El Chapo but the Fedaralies, the Zetas and the ATF as well who we all know have been cosigning the Sinoloa Cartel led by El Chapo.....

it's only so much he can do fighting somebody like Chapo who is soooo politically connected :manny:

and I truly believed Fuentes aka "lord of the skies" was murdered because of his nationalist stance...from his perspective he was moving dope to keep Mexico afloat..and that came across as socialist and slightly Marxist to the American imperilists...

same thing happen to Escobar.....he only became public enemy no. 1 to the DEA once he started feeding the poor and running for office

he became a threat to the status quo

which is why they (American imperilists) NOW cosign El Chapo cause HE DON'T GIVE A FLYUING FUKK ABOUT NONE OF THAT "SAVE MEXICO SHYT"..he just wanna :eat:

El Chapo's own capo testified how their cartel was giving the "greenlight" as opposed to other cartels .......which also explains El Chapo's longevity in the underworld.....he's probally outlasted every cartel boss in Mexican history :lupe:

accident my a$$..it's pretty obvious Fuentes was rubbed out!!:rudy:

I think you're oversimplifying a layered and complex subject...but it's interesting subject, either way. Vicente Carrillo 'El Viceroy' was long known as a cocaine abuser and a violent, flashy, badly tempered womanizer, not a competent leader. He's been marginalized in Juarez because of many reasons, including Sinaloa's infiltration of his own group, 'Gente Nueva' were VCF cell leaders who flipped to Sinaloa...and Zetas are aligned with Juarez, they were fighting with Beltran Leyvas and Juarez against Chapo in the sierras of northern Sinaloa last year.

I don't really buy into the Amado was murdered by the government, it's a good theory though, people will say Chapo is very benevolent in his areas of Sinaloa, but you hear the opposite, he's certainly not as openly nationalistic as Escobar.

As far as Cartel De Sinaloa having carte blanche, nah, Vicente Zambada was clearly dealing with DEA agents, who eventually turned on him, and other high level quid pro quo arrangements, not just a 'greenlight' given to Sinaloa. I definitely think this is not the case, but they are just more powerful, and more connected, (through decades in the business) then the rest... every cartel gets their time...Gulfos were before Sinaloa,CAF and Cartel De Juarez were before them....Sinaloa time will come, or maybe it's the beginning of a new era...every generation has a cartel that is known as the dominant one.

dude ..it ain't that complex

all these cartels and bosses are EXPENDABLE.......

once they step on the wrong toes politically or stop paying up.....

then they no longer can "commit atrocities like they have ammunity"

the FEDS know their are many more wanna be "bosses" ready to take their place....

so basically lord of the skies and el chapo regardless how much bread they got our still subordinate to the real bosses ....

The real RICK ROSS found this out once the IRAN-CONTRA affair hit the fan.............

and Norega found that out real quickly when he told Bush and his people to go fukk themselves and leave the Panama Canal alone......

lol I know you are into that way of thinking, so I won't argue with you much.. that's not all there is to the story...some vast conspiracy with shadowy men making decisions in smoke filled rooms...it's decades and decades of family, money and corruption, and no the bosses of TCO's aren't fukking picked by politicians or government officials....it's a system of corruption and power, but it's not as linear as you rather belligerently claim in your post.

Mexican Diplomat Says America Pretty Much Invited The Sinaloa Drug Cartel Across The Border

the reports from MX1 line up with assertions by a Sinaloa cartel insider that cartel boss Joaquin Guzman is a U.S. informant the Sinaloa cartel was "given carte blanche to continue to smuggle tons of illicit drugs into Chicago," and Operation Fast and Furious was part of an agreement to finance and arm the Sinaloa cartel in exchange for information used to take down rival

The United States, however, has declined to indicate whether Poveda-Ortega was extradited to the United States, Thompson writes. A Justice Department spokeswoman Laura Sweeney similarly told Yahoo News Monday that the department is "not in a position to comment on the specific matter."
