Alright now that makes sense. It just seemed random as hell and kind of melodramatic to the point of comedy.
After having sex with him, Drew, still hurt, tells Flipper it is best for him to leave. While walking down a street Flipper has a vision of his daughter, while walking with her, morphing into a prostitute he'd seen earlier. Flipper, in sharp response, hugs her and screams "No!"
