For all the posters who have well done steak, why?

I've read in here over the years about people having well done steak and tbh, till I was about 15 I did too, then I realised it was quite crap And got it medium, sometimes medium rare, just wondering have you ever tried a lightly done steak?

Different people have different preferences. I don't really like well done steaks because they taste dried out, but I can understand some people who do... and I've actually tasted some very nice steaks that WERE cooked well done.

Nah, for real. Like everybody else in here, I grew up thinking steak/beef HAD to be cooked well done and eating it any other way was for the white barbarians.

now I dont want it any other way.

Medium rare/medium. TOTALLY different flavor and texture.

I even want my hamburgers cooked this way if I can get it.

Lol, yeah that show is addictive. I watched Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares every night for like a month straight at one point lol. Gordon is that dude.
