fukk Open Court, that's lazy programming at its finest. The :flabbynsick: sit around pow wow.. gtfoh!! Its cool every once in a while but I don't know why ya'll hype that bullshyt show. This is shaping up to be one of the best seasons yet.. its almost like that old NBA is back. You mean to tell me we can't get a 'First Take'- 'PTI'- 'Around The Horn' type show jumpin' off every morning, at least during the season??:why: They already have the studio, the graphics, and facilities to pull this off. A simple show like that is not an expensive production at all. Its not rocket science, get some guys on air and talk NBA. After all the fukkery from last night I got to wake up to Open Court?? And to get some NBA talk from ESPN I have to wait and sift-maneuver around the World Series and NFL talk:noah: unbelievable

-Of course they have the live games cracking off, but why not go all the way with this? Give the people what they want. The NBA is worldwide, they have the revenue, budget, and resources. MLB Channel and NFL Network's programming is amazing! Its f*cking 2013!! :mindblown:

Produce some shows. A 'NBA Pardon The Interruption' or a 'NBA First Take' for starters. That's a no brainer. That's programming 101 for sports channels.
I don't disagree. It's like NBA TV still hasn't progressed. The only original show I know of off the top is the fantasy show. Now they have Inside Stuff coming back & all, but nothing on that channel is changing year over year & it really should be. I really wish they'd change that font, the graphics, the music. It's all dated. They need an upgrade/makeover.

shyt is like the BET of sports networks.

I still like Open Court, especially with them getting some fresh blood in there. I've always though NBA TV could use better programming. I would love if they had a show spotlighting up and coming NBA prospects and how they are performing in college/overseas. I would like to see profiles from previous NBA seasons or breakdown of a player's career. I used to love the greatest games where they had players that was in the game talking about it. Recaps of full years/seasons would be cool. Maybe he under appreciated teams from different years that may not have one titles.

I still don't know why NBAtv doesn't have a NBA version of MLB Tonight. I understand they have Gametime, but it's only a hour and they rarely go in depth. It'd be great, if NBAtv had a legit highlight show and a week in review show. NBAtv is easily the WOAT league channel(out of the 3 major sports).

MLB Network>NFL Network>>>>>>>NBAtv

NBA TV programming used to be even worse when they had ZERO original programming. At least they're on the come up with Open Court, Inside Stuff, The Beat, and the fantasy crap. PTI and First Take cover all sports so its easier to say have an NBA show that mirrors those formats than it is to actually pull off. There's a dynamic to those type of shows that work when you encompass more than 1 sport. It wouldnt be the same only talking about the NBA.

It's real :eh: compared to The MLB Network. Even NBA Gametime pales in comparison to MLB Tonight. NHL Network is better than them. :chuck:

This season is shaping up to be one of the best ever?

How did you come to that conclusion?

ESPN told him.:heh: ESPN is really going hard, with this return to 90's NBA promotion. I mean, I know they have a stake invested since they air games, but this is over the top, it's like they are copying NBA12K's retro players concept but are applying it with today's player.

Yeah, I would think there's enough content for atleast NBATV to have something beyond Open Court and Game Time. I mean even the NFL network can muster up some original programming and that's with ESPN, Fox Sports 1, CBS and Showtime taking huge chunks out of there sport with their own original NFL centered programming. NBATV has really no competion outside of TNT and kind of sort of ESPN. They seem content with just with what they are doing. I do like them bringing back Inside Stuff but that wasn't exactly their idea in the first place.
