I'm going hard with this one over the next half year. goal is to lose fat. that's it. forget everything else. I'm gonna be losing muscle too but forget that. tired of being so chubby.

right now I'm at 221 lbs or so. gonna be on a big calorie deficit, 1500 to 1800 cal a day at most.

gonna be using HIIT cardio 3-4 days a week till I hit it. posting weekly updates and pics. mostly jumping rope in the gym, soccer on weekends if possible.

hopefully I'll hit my goal by July or august, stay tuned brehs

edit: i should say, currently hovering around 29% BF, as the official starting point

I bought an electronic body fat / BMI monitor off of amazon

care to share which one you bought?

oh and :salute: on starting your weight loss journey. My advice is to not get discouraged, the fat won't all go at once. It's a slow moving process. Hit the heights. Don't just rely on cardio. Oh and your diet must be clean. That means no cheat days, no indulges, no liquor, nothing.

Good luck.

It's a thin line but something in there should be acceptable for sanity over 5-6 months.

i'm just saying from personal experience breh. Liquor made me demotivated and i missed a week of gym cause all i did was drink. :damn:
Fam that might be a bigger issue :merchant:

It comes down to the individual but if he is really going to go 1500-1800 cals for 5 months most people can only take so much of that. Better to work in some sensible breaks in some form that to go full retart :guilty:

ya i was fighting through a bout of depression. Alcohol and weed numbed the pain, but can't hide behind drugs to feel better. So now i'm going on cold turkey and having the gym as my only medicine.

I slacked on this shyt huh?

Clear and unacceptable.

Solution: 30 day challenge to kick this thread off. For the next 30 days I will post in here every day checking off that I was under 1800 cal for the day, that i bought no junk food/ energy drinks, and that I exercised cardio minimum of 3 times a week. Posting stats and starting over tomorrow. I will reach 10%

Fukk it:

This really doesn't make sense at those calories. If you can stick with it I doubt you will be happy with the results.
