When I win I bring we with me
When folks talk about AA men to women ratio they always treat all women(15yr old teenagers living with their parents up to chicks with no functioning wombs) as eligible. But when talking about men they start making all these exceptions.

How many single "eligible" African American women are there between the ages of 20 - 35 for every single "eligible" AA man? :jbhmm:

shyt you can even throw in...
  • widows
  • divorcees with children
  • single moms with their head on straight

But I'm not talking about...
  • married women
  • women with no working womb
  • barely legal teenagers
  • women locked up
.....and definitely not
  • dikes
  • women "lost to da game"(Corey Holcomb voice)

:mjgrin:

i imagine there's a lot
If I were to take this as a "non fukkery" thread ...I 'd say there is quite a few. Not to mention who is eligabe could change with position in life.
For instance...
  • My brother already has kids so he prob could give a damn if a chick is capable of having more.
  • I on the other hand have no lil ones so a barren woman wouldn't work for me.
But that would be starting down the road of putting in a modicum of nuance & thought on the topic, but given this is an admitted TLR fukkery thread:ehh: we can't have that :whoa:

Your definition of 'eligible' is loose.
It was deliberately made so :mjgrin:

I thought there was more AA women than men (could be wrong) but especially since this generation has the lowest teen pregnancies than any generation before most Black Women are at least making it to 20-23 without kids.

Go through menopause at 36 brehettes

But around 3 to 1 at least
:mjlol:

Actually the logic went like this...:jbhmm:
"Theoretical limits" Extremes: Age of consent -> menopause
Problem with this is even 5 years out from menopause could be hell on hopes of a baby and obviously a chick at the age of consent is likely still living with her parents going to HS.(some states are like 16yr old and shyt)

Functional: 18 -> 45
Problem with this is an 18 yr old is still transitioning from living under their parents to building something stable in the world. And while It's "possible" to have kids at 45, starting on your say, child 1 of 3 at 45 is a stretch.

Realistic: 20 -> 35
A person can "realistically" be set to really begin taking such life long decisions by 20. While at 35 you can still begin having children from scratch with a lil wiggle room in between kids.

:yeshrug:
So I went with a "realistic" 20 -> 35
(not set in stone though)

There are more women than men, that's for sure. But not everybody has the same access, it's all about location.

This is where the issue gets confused, the populations are ruffly equal with an AA population of men 48% and women 52%

The thing to remember is women typically outlive men by a couple years...
African-American-Life-Expectancy-Chart.jpg

so that difference of men 48% and women 52%
is largely made of post menopausal women in their 70's - 80's+
