Does the coli need a mental health/advice/guidance subforum?

Threads like this one:

Black men, vulnerability and depression.

do not belong in TLR. A lot of brehs out there need advice/guidance and there are some decent, knowledgeable brehs on the coli who could help them out. But it's impossible to have a serious discussion on some of these personal issues in TLR for obvious reasons.

There's also the fact that many of these helpful threads disappear in a sea of instathot and bedwench threads, which means a lot of valuable information is lost.

Maybe brehs could even post anonymously so ppl won't judge them or use their "weaknesses" against them in future debates? Of course their identities would be known to the mods so spammers can get banned tho.

Mental Health subforum with useful advice, counseling locations, and strategies to overcome certain things (breakups, work stress, general caccery) would be good for a lot of people

Sometimes a simple it's gonna be alright from a brother to a brother can prompt one to go get the help he needs/fix the issue in need of addressing


A LOT of brothers are walking around broken and don't even realize they are because they live on auto pilot but reading a shared experience could help someone.

One site dedicated strictly to online therapy is one thing but it's risky for the owners to incorporate such a thing among a forum like this. Bad advice can lead to lawsuits. It would need some heavy ass disclaimers.

I think OP has a good idea as long as it has an anonymous posting feature. Some people will be itching to use a persons vulnerabilities against them the moment they have a disagreement.
