I came across a Premo chat thing he did, not letting me copy it fully plus it's a bit jumbled so will post some of the highlights...

His top 5 MC's of all time....

Premier--Rakim, KRS-ONE, Chuck D, Melle Mel, Big Daddy Kane

His top 5 albums of all time...

Premier-- (NOT IN ORDER) 1. Eric B. & Rakim--"Paid In Full" 2. Run-DMC-"Raising Hell" 3. LL Cool J--"Radio" 4. Boogie Down Productions--"Criminal Minded" 5. Public Enemy--"Yo ! Bum Rush The Show"

On K-Rino...

Premier--K-Rino is on the new NYGz LP. Their LP will finally get a release date in January. The song he did with us is called "Introduction To Manhood" along with Lil Fame of M.O.P....K-Rino got busy on it. He and I talked about doing an album.

On J Dilla..

Premier-- Dilla is my dude. we hung out together many of times. He was with me when I recorded "Devil's Pie" with D'angelo. I have the picture. This was before he was sick and Alchemist came with me....Alchemist looks like a little kid back in 1998...R.I.P. Dilla Dawg

On rumors he worked with 2 Pac when he was alive....

Premier--I never Produced with 2Pac but I have a song for whenever I need to use it on Acapella. One day It will come out when I put a beat to it.

On beef with Biggie & Jeru The Damaja..

Premier -- Me and Big never had beef. There was some issues regarding one of my artists Jeru The Damaja but that got taken care of, One Day" did spark the controversy. I went thru the motions but all is well and me and BIG cleared it up before he died. Plus BIG was NEVER called out on that record at all. speculation can sometimes lead to the wrong point getting across. As for Jeru, he and I are totally fine. We split over a business decision. We are gonna work this year on some new stuff

On doing a book....

Premier--I am doing a book with Harry Allen helping me on it. I also want to do a proper Gang Starr Book. Stay Tuned

On Nas/KRS-One/Pete Rock collab albums.....

Premier -- the NAS LP you are correct. He has to finish his commitments to Def Jam first. As for KRS, we did 3 songs and then he went on tour. Haven't heard from him since, but that's what KRS does so when the time is right it will happen. As for Pete Rock, we both had other commitments that had to come first so that is just how our industry goes. Don't count them out though....I still continue to put music out if you are really keeping up with me.

So my thoughts on this are...

Really dope top 5, all of them are great artists/MC's. You can understand why Melle Mel is there, particularly Preme growing up in that era, Melle Mel was THE man.

I can't wait to hear the song with K-Rino & Lil Fame, I hope it's crazy, would love them to do a full album also.

Would be interested to check out the Pac acapella over Preme's beat too. Would be interesting, obviously can't ever be as if he was alive, but could still be dope to hear.

The book is an instant cop.

And without question will be checking for all those albums, particularly the 1 with KRS-One, been waiting on that, that could be classic. Hopefully when Kris isn't touring relentlessly they can make that happen lol.

Was interesting Premo picked Yo Bum Rush The Show instead of It Takes A Nation Of Millions.

Nice read.

Can't wait for the book and that Nas album, and the Tupac joint

Yeah, I really hope if the Nas album does come to fruition it lives up to the hype, it's a high standard to meet cause Nas & Premo have mad classic joints together, some of his best records...

Last time they worked together was Stillmatic/Classic (with Kayne, for the AF1's anniversary) right?

Quite possibly, that joint was dope too. I think they could come through with a classic, is Nas' Def Jam obligations completed now?

I have to see a Nas/Primo album to believe it. I mean we been only waiting for OVER A DECADE

I agree, all of those albums I'm not going to get too excited about unless it's clear they are actually coming. But the Nas 1 could maybe happen after Nas becomes more free in that sense.
