Cristiano Ronaldo’s agency Gestifute have published a document disclosing the Real Madrid's forward's income for last year in an attempt to stave off accusations of tax avoidance.

The 31-year-old's annual income of £191m ($240m) breaks down to £523,000 ($658,000) per day, £3.7m per week ($4.65m) and £15.9m ($20m) per month.

Following the recent accusations, which were published by a group of European newspapers last weekend, Gestifute released a photograph of Ronaldo’s ‘Model 720’ tax return, in a bid to prove their client declared the necessary assests and rights to Spanish authorities.

The published document states that Ronaldo declared £19.8m ($24.90m) of income from Spain, including his Real Madrid wages. It is claimed that he made the remaining £171million ($215 million) elsewhere.

Cristiano Ronaldo's agency bites back as his annual income is revealed

Facts don't matter in 2016, I got talking points m8.

Case in Point

I mean, I don't see it. May happen in non factor leagues like MSL but don't see it in Europe or South America. Makes you think.

The difference.

Are you a pro soccer player

Don't know why this thread is taking shots at football players...most of them couldn't play soccer.

Should be taking shots at bball players. That's where our top athletes tend to go.

Several soccer players have actually been found to have CTE in autopsies. And a recent study showed that soccer players had reduced gray matter, more signs of cortical thinning, and structural damage in the brain in comparison to track and tennis athletes.

Heading the ball doesn't seem like a lot, but it's more impact than the human head is designed to take. It's not as dangerous as American football obviously, but soccer isn't a "safe" sport in terms of potential brain injury.
