"Cop" shot after initiating a traffic stop initiated for no traffic violation

Shooting happened around 7 p.m. sunday near mondawmin mall in baltimore after cops initiated a traffic stop for no traffic violation ("suspcious activitiy"). Cops approached the car and, for no specified reason, demanded the accused shooter to step out of the vehicle. The accused shooter, after refusing to step outside the vehicle for fear of his safety, was threatened to be tasered if he did not exit the car.

As the cop, Groman, reached for his taser (which at a glance closely resembles a gun) the accused shooter, fearing for his life in the wake of the wave of recently publicized police brutality incidents, quickly reached for his .357 and fired 3 shots, one of which hit the cop under his vest.

The accused shooter was later physically assaulted by police while in custody.

Outside of Hospital cop is currently being held, Baltimore City Police Commissioner, Anthony W. Batts (Former Oakland Police Commissioner) brazenling asked if protestors that have been marching against police brutality would also march for this cop.

The teenager and friends were pulled over for "suspcious activity" which was later specified as their "car smelling like weed". Their car was stopped and they were told to exit the vehicle which they legally refused to do. They were then threatend with violence if they did not exit the vehicle.

No weed was found.
