We got the reining CY award winner Corey Kluber to headline a solid rotation. MVP candidate Michael Brantley leading the way on offense. We got an excellent manager. But we still got Dolan's checkbook Despite Dolan's discounts,I still think we can be in the hunt in September @Regular_P what did yall do to V-Mart

Right after he signed that ridiculous extension too.

Miggy and Victor might both be on the DL at the start of the year. I have no hope for this season.

I wish. Cespedes and JD Martinez are the only other reliable bats and that's a big if considering JD came out of nowhere last year.

The rotation is Price (), Verlander (can't be as bad as last year, but won't be prime JV anymore either ), Sanchez (never healthy for a full season ), Shane Greene (I think he'll be solid ) and Alfredo Simon ().

That's not even mentioning the bullpen they did nothing to address.

I posted an article in the Hot Stove thread where Buster Olney described them as taking a "faith based" approach to the bullpen. Basically, Detroit's thinking is those guys can't be as bad as they were last year and that's why they didn't do anything to address it in the offseason. :smhkobe:

Not a huge fan of Brandon Moss While he dealt with some nagging injuries I still don't see him helping significantly. But the added depth is nice

We swooped on Moss from Oakland which should add to the lineup. He's a pretty clutch bat... I prolly go to 15+ A's games a year out here so I've seen him a lot. Ticket prices are in the neighborhood of a high school game lol. I personally don't care what kinda shape Swisher says he's in, he's a bum to me. I'm going to spring training for the first time in March as soon as I get back from Paris. I heard it's a month of partying down in the Phoenix area. Pitcher progression is key and I have a feeling this is Frannys year to win Manager of the year
