Compton OG: Tupac back then was doing what Chris Brown is doing now

I was listening to a podcast and this OG dude from Compton wasn't too impressed with Tupac's antics around the Deathrow era. He couldn't believe a celebrity in his mid 20s started banging and unlike CB who just shouts out Fruit Town, he was actually in the street gangbanging ... He kind of alludes to the fact that real bangers didn't take that seriously.

He told the story of the time his chick went to kick it in the hood and Pac was there chilling with these young ass teen gangmembers and despite being older and famous...he was clearly lower in the food chain to these 15 year olds and he was basically taking orders from them. They were really Piru.

Dude blames Suge for letting him bang. That was his cash cow...he shouldn't have been nowhere near that shyt.

Pac might've ended up bad with or without gangs. Even when he was on tour with DU....who obviously wasn't a "gangsta" group....he'd be ready to fight 30 dudes over dumb shyt. I don't think he ever claimed it just was affiliated, and would shout them out sometimes. Couple songs he made it clear that he wasn't into banging. It's actually kind of sad because 2pac was a very articulate person, and it seems like he got lost in his thug life persona. CB just seems like an idiot trying to fit in, does the FTP even claim this guy? Lol.

Not because of Tupac himself even but because of his family and where they lived. He was around different elements than Chris Brown in Virginia Beach.
