Now, as some of you know - because a few of you actually know me in real life - I used to hoop at a high level, and even after I stopped hooping due to injury I hung heavy with basketball and football players until I just couldn't deal with that scene anymore because they were too reckless. And by they, I pretty much strictly mean football nikkas. Football nikkas in general are a different animal. The only two times in my life I've had to run from the cops were because of D-1 football nikkas. Although, I also became cool with the captain of the lacrosse team at one school, and discovered that these white boy lax motherfukkers are some of the filthiest dudes on the planet and can give football nikkas a run for their money. I've heard hockey players are the most disgusting of all, but I don't have much direct experience with those dudes.
I'm leaving out all hood and high school sports stories and focusing on college. Last night I sat down with some Makers and a Guinness, called one of my old school homies, and tried to remember as many of the wild incidents I witnessed as I could. I ended up with 16 quality recollections, so I'll be presenting 16 episodes of True Coliwood Stories in this thread. There is only one episode of the 16 I didn't see firsthand, and that's Episode III. My cuzzo - who is like a brother to me - played D-1 baseball, and he gave me that one. I'm confident it's 100% true. He also gave me the Bonus Footage/Outtake feature You sure You Play For The Marlins? I'll be updating this thread periodically. First episode should drop later today.
