Do yourself a favor and get a Sig Sauer P250 or P320.
You can buy caliber kits which is like having multiple guns...and you can always have something to shoot during ammo shortage.

the p320 is amazing for that simple fact but theres nothing I'd take over a glock 22.. i stopped carrying a while ago but theres nothing id take as a side arm over the 40 cal glocks

Nah, go get a S&W SD40 VE... S&W basically made their own $200 cheaper version of a Glock and it's so much like the Glock that Glock sued them.
It's a good shooting gun and it's inexpensive...

9mm ammo is cheaper bruh if you want to go and shoot at the range a lot. I dont think a novice shooter will notice the diff between shotting a 40 and 9, I'd go with the cheaper ammo

Rentals are 10 each so that's cheap and I wanna try them all.
Gun will mainly be for my crib. Might get a license to carry but we shall see

I got the S&W Shield today. I bought the Sig earlier this month.
