Bitcoin madness

Last January I bought 8 bitcoins to purchase some goods online. Cost me about $100. Spent 3 of the 8, then kinda forgot about it. Ended up loosing track of where my wallet was located. I always use incognito browsing, so I had no history to search. I never figured out how to change the bitcoins back to cash so I chalked it to the game and kept it moving. We'll after hearing a news segment on bitcoins last Sunday I figured I might as well try to find my lost wallet. When this afternoon after hours of trial and error I finally found it! The $50 I left behind has turned into almost 5k. AND I discover that Target is now accepting bitcoin transactions via a service called Gyft. Thru Gyft I was able to convert half the bitcoin into Target gift cards. My family gonna have a great Christmas this year! Gonna wait to convert the other half. I wanna watch the market a little longer to see if it continues to rise.
Now I wish I would've invested more in bitcoins. Why are they so damn valuable right now? $950+ for one bitcoin?? When I bought mine 11 months ago it was like $7.

can i get a gift card, bruh? i really regret not getting in on bitcoin when it seemed foolish. its dude on another site claiming they've got hundreds of thousands in bitcoin.

but my thing is, none of them have any proof. nikkas talk all this good shyt but show me the receipts.

Tru dat. I just wish I had more knowledge of it back in Jan. I just used it like a tool instead of an investment. Now I want to learn more about it. Earlier I read that's it's just some kind of algorithm.
Man, this would be the perfect way to hide money if you needed to.

Could that be what is driving the price surge? I read the other day somebody in Germany bought 350 million worth of bitcoins and it temporarily shut down the markets like Mt. Gox for a while. That has to be bigger than any personal investment, that has to be an institutional investment.

I would've bought bitcoins but when i heard about it that's when all my brokeness started. This was 3-4 years ago.... lol@ all the Cac's on tv and online, so called experts telling people this was a no go.
