While I was walking from the library of the college I go to. This Black/Hispanic girl was threatening her son. She said, "you better behave before I take you to the bathroom and beat your ass" . After I heard her say that out loud I said to myself wow she's a conformist . We got the beating our kids mentality from our oppressor. Especially, when us as slaves were beat with the whip and crack whip. That's how the term cracker which I do NOT use originated. I'm saying we as Black folk need to upgrade and modify our technique when disciplining our children. Because that right there is still what's keeping us as a slave mentally. Also, I would NEVER beat my kids. However, I would take away their positions like my parents did me and ground them

Nah y'all wrong.. You ever worked in an elementary school? I'm pretty sure none of these young parents beat their kids and you got to see how they act in school.. NO RESPECT FOR NOBODY.. I heard so many kids tell me I act up because I know my mom not gonna do nothing..

Bullshyt. Got my ass whooped as a kid and Im a better person for it. there's a difference between a traditional African American beating and abuse. These white kids out chea telling their parents to suck there dikk and shyt. I got my ass whooped as a kid and as an adult I'm strong, I'm honest and ima hard worker. I don't plan on hitting my kids, but I don't see the problem with parents who do as long as you're not abusing them.

My GPA and Bank Account and strength and will all came from getting my ass whooped. My parents ain't here no more and I'm still prepared for life.

My childhood classmate was damn near beat to death by his parents because he told our teacher they were hitting him when she asked. His father came to beat his ass at school and slapped the shyt out of him in front of our whole class the next day (once he found out) Well, he left in HANDCUFFS.
