They look more like a mixture between less mixed Nile Valley North Africans and Nilotics.

No, we basically look like our neighbors whether it is North African Egypt, or Ethiopia or Eritrea, or Chad. It is not a simple Nilotic and North Africans mixture, and you really cannot tell difference from someone from Dongola and Amhara person in Ethiopia, that why and other Sudanese say we basically the fault line of all those regions, hence our looks (possibly)

I been to Ethiopia and you guys do not have what I call that "big ass horner forehead" which most seems to be "Sub Saharan", your features are more "North African" and yes I can tell the difference. I'm not saying ALL Sudanese look North African/Nilotic but that seems to be the main look.

I don't think it is much of the difference, you have to take a trip to Khartoum and other areas in the north to understand what i am talking about.
