This is exactly what I thought when I was studying early African American history. Christianity was never the black mans religion. To be fair though, before the mass enslavement of blacks slavery was really indentured servitude. Someone would be a slave for like 10 years then they'd go free. Also they were treated pretty well unlike chattel slavery where blacks were bred,beaten, raped and tortured regularly.
That's what a lot of the "b-bu-but there's always been slavery" brigade don't understand."

Funny how he used the slavemasters using the Bible as 'justification for slavery' but conveniently ignored the priests who spoke out against slavery. Let's also ignore the role of the black church in the civil rights movement. Martin Luther King Jr died over this all, and you want to call him an uncle tom.
who said jesus was white?
most of religion, even Christianity has its foundation in African rituals and spirituality.
they sole your history, diluted it, then resold it to you...
Spirituality=Originated by Blacks
Religion=White man's excuse for rape, torture, murder and slavery

Every society on earth had "spiritual" claims.
Its not unique.
