I remember when the latest PPV would drop, and only the box for it was there. I used to HAWK them nikkas on the regular for when it was due. I used to post up around 8pm when that shyt was officially late

Blockbuster was a fun environment. Especially when you walked in with no expectations and found something.

like 10-15 years ago i got a membership at a bunch of blockbusters in the atlanta area

and rented like every good wrestling ppv vhs they had and just kept them and never took them back

But yeah going to blockbuster on the weekend as a kid was like

All the new games titles you want would always be rented out when you got in there though

But sometime you'd ask them to check the drop box and if that new game was in there

Whenever they didn't have what ii wanted, i went to hollywood video. Low key, it had way more piff than blockbusterYou could rent a movie or a game for a couple days more than blockbuster They had a section where you could buy old consoles and games

I actually do kinda miss this place. Low key when they started changing their policies was one of the most things ever.

Early in Blockbuster's life:

BB: Two movies that'll be $8.37 plus I see this late charge for Above the Rim which will be an extra $4.15, did you want to take care of that today?
Me: But I brought that back on-time I thought?
BB: If it's in after 8:00 it's considered late. We can take care of it now or you'll need to clear it next time before you can rent again.
Me: Fine.

Late in Blockbuster's life:

BB: Ok so you've got two movies and a Blu-Ray that'll be $9.15. I also see there's two late charges for Galaxy Quest and Iron Man, but don't worry about that we'll go ahead and clear those charges for you, sir.

Just movie stores in general...going to the movie store on Friday to get a movie for that night or a game for the whole weekend, those were the days

My pops would even take me and my little brother and we would rent a super nintendo or something for the whole weekend
