The short answer is no, but if you dont have a GED its the first priority to get one.
We live in a time in which people with bachelors go back to get associates in something useful to be able to get a job. The key to employment is to provide employers value. Even if you can do that, not even graduating high school is a red flag that you are prone to mistakes.
I think the best route for someone starting from the beginning is
GED->Technical Associates-> Any valuable certs/technical skills that can go right onto a resume
Steps 2 and three can be done at the same time.
The most important thing for any young person is to accomplish enough things/ develop enough skills to fill a one page resume.. and then make moves from there.
